There are a number of different bus operators within the TFI public transport network.
Additionally some bus services are operated by commercial operators on behalf of Transport for Ireland:
Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland operate within the Greater Dublin Area as part of the TFI public transport network. Bus Éireann caters to services outside the GDA, with some operating out of Dublin.
As of the 24th November 2019, Go-Ahead Ireland also operate the new route 197 Swords to Ashbourne.
On the 18th December City Direct began operating two new routes in Kilkenny city, the KK1 and the KK2. For information on fares and timetables, please see here.
Local Link provides a nationwide bus service throughout rural areas in Ireland. The services are operated and managed by 15 offices throughout Ireland.
