Institute of Technology Sligo are an active Smarter Travel Campus Partner Campus and engage in a number of initiatives during the year to promote smarter travel.
They have participated in the first ever Smarter Travel Campus student walking challenge, Marchathon. As well as this they have made good use of their plasma screens around campus to promote the benefits of smarter travel to staff and students.
They have also participated in the Smarter Travel Workplaces 10 Minute Cycle Challenge for staff and were the winners of the Best Workplace Award 2014 for best larger Smarter Travel Workplace.
