Institute of Technology Carlow are an active Smarter Travel Campus Partner Campus and are planning to engage in a number of initiatives during the year to promote smarter travel.
They participated in the first ever Smarter Travel Campus Student Cycle Challenge and hosted the Smarter Travel Campus programme in September 2014 as part of the campuses Clubs and Societies day in order to encourage active travel amongst its student and staff population.
